Accounting & Admin Officer (JL) - HK$25 - 26K
Our client, a well established professional firm, is looking for an Accounting and Admin Officer.

The ideal candidate should have:

• MUST be very fluent in English, native Cantonese
• Degree holder in Accountancy
• Min. 3 – 5 years STABLE Accounting and Admin experience in legal or professional firm or banking/ finance sector
• Handle full set of books and office admin support

• Degree holder preferred
• Fluent to Native level of English, native Cantonese
• Min. 3 – 5 years SOLID and STABLE accounting experience in legal sector
• Familiar with clients’ billing, full set of books, credit control
• Someone feels comfortable to work in a small office with most expatriates
• Experienced in coordinate with UK offices

• Must possesses 5 or more years of experience, ideally has worked in a Big 4 firm or in an international organization
• First-rate knowledge of the principals, practices and techniques of auditing
• Experience in China operations preferably with an international background
• Exposure with IPO would be highly preferred
• Awareness of the regulatory environment of Hong Kong & Asia Pacific
• Qualified Accountant, preferably a CPA / HKICPA / ACCA
• Fluency in written & spoken English.
• Chinese would be an advantage but not essential

• Degree holder in Accounting, with either a higher degree or a CPA qualification or somewhere near equivalent.
• Expert in Hong Kong & cross border tax involving US
• Very good command of spoken & written especially English & Chinese
• Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Tax Consultant

• Qualified accountant with at least an university degree in accounting/ finance; previous audit experience a plus
• Proficient in English and Cantonese
• Minimum 10 years’ of well–rounded financial experience with at least 5 years of leadership role within a major financial services organization; someone with MNC experience
• You must come from a foreign based banking and finance sector
• Familiar with US GAAP and HKMA regulatory reporting
• Experience in implementing Basel II a definite advantage
• Possess strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong control mindset and business acumen with unquestionable integrity

• Supervise a team of 15 staff members including finance and accounting team
• Manage and lead a team of accountants to handle and oversee the Company’s financial accounting and control functions.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the accounting system and accuracy of general ledger.
• Develop and execute accounting controls and procedures to ensure adequate internal controls.
• Responsible for the accuracy and timely submission of all financial reporting including statutory and management accounts, regulatory reporting, head office reporting, capital forecast, etc.; ensure that they are properly prepared in compliance with relevant regulatory and non-regulatory requirements/accounting standards.
• Responsible for tax planning and reporting.
• Recommend and implement enhancements in work flow, productivity and service level of the Department and the Company.
• Handle ad hoc projects

• Qualified, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 6 years working experience gained in the service industry with 3 years managerial skill
• Good knowledge of internal controls and procedural best practices and understanding HK accounting standards and tax regulations and filing requirements
• A proactive, committed to continuous improvement, and results oriented
• Experience in the legal sector would be advantageous, but not a pre-requisite
• Self motivated, independent, and able to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Responsible for the production of all statutory, regulatory and financial reporting
• Responsible for overseeing financial accounting, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, taxation, treasury cash management and credit control.

• Form 5 or above LCC Inter or Higher level
• Min. 1.5 - 2 years SOLID accounting experience with a stable work history
• Familiar with Excel and Word
• Experienced in handling petty cash, prepare cheque payment and vouchers, prepare bank payslip and schedule

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 4-5 years working experience, with 2-3 years relevant credit control experience gained from a multinational corporation
• Prior legal firm experience is an asset but not essential
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
• Proactive, independent and highly motivated with keen problem solving abilities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Assist Credit Controller in enhancing credit control process of the firm
• Monitor day to day overdue accounts, update unpaid bills reports on a weekly basis
• Account reconciliation
• Communicate with clients / fee earners regarding client payment status on a regular basis
• Internal bills settlements
• Issue monthly statements to clients
• Bill posting and other accounting duties as required

• Degree holder in Accounting, an advanced degree a plus, with a full membership of a recognized professional body
• 4 years' relevant experience with a big four accounting firm or the IRD; experience in taxation in other jurisdictions, such as China and the US would be helpful, but not essential
• Strong planning and organizational skill with an analytical and innovative mind
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years' relevant working experience, preferable previous experience from CPA firm or MNC environments.
• Experience in Writing and editing marketing materials
• Experience in Brand management (visual and other "touch points")
• Experience in Sponsorship management and Event management
• Experience in preparing Business proposals and presentations development or support
• Experience of the Hong Kong and Mainland markets
• Experience in marketing of Tax compliance and consulting services, or other professional services, preferably gained by working within a professional services firm
• Excellent written and spoken English, (Chinese a definite advantage)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently
• Able to work in a Multi-tasking environment

• Lead marketing strategy development and execution to raise the profile, maintain & build eminence of the Company, to facilitate winning of new clients and retention and growth of business from existing clients.
• Support the specialist service teams of Hong Kong practice on their needs for professional marketing, communications and business development support services.
• Reporting to Southern China Managing Partner and will need to work closely with the firm's Corporate Marketing and Communications team.
• Development and execution of segmented marketing programs including events and communications
• Development and management of appropriate sponsorship opportunities
• Development and management of marketing materials and platforms including brochures, thought leadership reports, articles, client communications, website, intranet
• Clients data management for effective Client Relationship Management
• Development and maintenance of up to date and quality templates for proposals and presentations to facilitate consistent and efficient marketing of Company’s capabilities.

• Degree holders in accounting, human resources, human resources management, finance or related disciplines
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• 6 years' or above relevant experience will definitely be an advantage
• Ability to communicate complicated complex ideas in a simple and effective manner both in writing and face to face
• Work experience with tax authorities or a Big-Four Accounting firm will be a definite advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Self-motivated, mature, a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); other languages will be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as a Senior Consultant

• Advising on a clients' time apportionment claims
• Reviewing tax efficient remuneration packages
• Meeting with assignees to discuss their tax issues
• Developing complex tax planning structures across a number of jurisdictions.

• Diploma / Degree holder and/or qualified accountant (HKCPA)
• At least 6 years solid experience with three years within a management or supervisory role (experience in a PRC based manufacturer will be an advantage)
• Experience in handling PRC accounting is preferable
• Experience with SAP is an advantage but is not essential
• Detail oriented, independent , self- initiative, energetic and strong analytical skills
• Proficient using MS Word, Excel & Chinese WP is an advantage
• Proficiency in both, written and spoken English & Chinese
