Head of Corporate Finance & Advisory - HK$1.5M+ Bonsu
Our client is a well established bank that is currently expanding their Investment Banking Team and is now seeking for a Head of Corporate Finance & Advisory.

Requirements

• To have substantial experience and knowledge of Corporate Finance/Private Equity such as Private Placements, Corporate advisory, mergers & acquisitions / takeovers among others
• Degree / MBA holder (with focus on finance related disciplines preferred)
• Professional Qualifications such as CPA, CFA added advantage
• More than 7 years related working experience

• Recruiting, managing and supervising the Corporate Finance and Investment Team
• Within the strategy approved by the Board of Directors, to lead the team, set budgets and have overall responsibilities in the following areas :
  • Marketing & Origination- To set the direction for the identification of business areas / clients and their requirements.
  • Structuring of Transactions – To create new businesses and services to suit client needs after due evaluation (both financial and non-financial) of the client’s needs / position.
  • Presentation of Proposals - Provide overall guidance for the preparation and presentation of proposals for contemplated transactions / services to the client.
  • To provide supervision for the risk analysis of proposals, transactions and services, including both from the Bank’s and client’s perspective and in terms of credit and business risk among others.
  • Supervising the team in the complete execution of transactions
• Member of bank’s Business Continuity Committee with line management role

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related major from an accredited college/university
• One year of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry or other advisory services practice
• Basic understanding of foreign exchange products such as spot, forwards, swaps, options, futures, and NDF’s
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in English

• Assisting traders directly with position problems and deal problems
• Liaising with the Treasury Department to cover overnight FX positions
• Inputting currency option trades into the Front Office system
• Options revaluations including exotic option knowledge
• Inputting and monitoring trader orders including the passing of the global order book to London.
• Reconciliation of voice brokerage costs
• Liaison with the Back Office in order to resolve any outstanding issues
• Maintaining credit issues on electronic brokerage systems (EBS and Reuters)
• Communication with FX systems specialists for systems enhancements/developments
• Monitoring of customer positions, settlement and margin calls
• Maintaining daily statistics and preparing management reports
• Booking of customer and bankside trades, monitoring of positions and query resolution for the Global FX & Precious Metals Prime Brokerage

• Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Economics
• 5 years of work experience, preferably in financial service industry
• Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) working knowledge of GL Trade Clearvision matching system, GMIU competency is an advantage.
• In depth knowledge of the Asian Futures & Options markets and their associated rules and regulations.
• A strong understanding of restricted currency practices and procedures

• Booking of top day transactions
• Reconciliation of Breaks
• Co ordination of FX money moves
• Reconciliation of Broker accounts
• Management reporting to the London office

Experience in serving expatriate executives Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial and administrative support to a team of 10 , which includes managing multiple calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings & arranging travel
• Assist Sales Team in coordinate deal and non deal roadshow
• Manager all components of logistical budget and final reconciliation
• Provide trading service and order stock trade
• Facilitated daily dealing activities products

Responsibilities
