Law Firm IT Specialist (JL) - HK$20K - 25K
Our client, an international professional firm, is looking for an experienced IT Specialist.

The ideal candidate should have:

• University degree
• Very good in English, Mandarin and native Cantonese
• 3-5 years solid and STABLE IT experience in foreign Law Firm
• MUST be familiar with WORKSITE system
• Responsible for staff training, taking care of everything related to technology, Software and hardware, Video Conference, Blackberry, etc.
• Coordinate with US IT support team
• May need some travel to Shanghai and Beijing
• Someone feel comfortable to work independently as this is the only person in HK office

• Degree holder in Computer related discipline
• At least 2 year experience in helpdesk support in a foreign company with STABLE work history
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, native Cantonese (with foreign lawyers)
• Sound knowledge in Microsoft Windows XP, Office and TCP/IP networking
• Good analytical mind and trouble-shooting skill
• Able to work both independently and as a team player
• Able to learn quickly and work under pressure

• Tertiary educated in EE, Computer Science , Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience in embedded software development experience in communication handheld product will be an advantage
• Knowledge in C, C++ and Assembly Language and familiar with Linux Operation System design and PC programming
• Experience in Windows CE, Linux or embedded Linux development is preferable
• Able to work independently and strong communications skills with all levels
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Willingness to travel fregquently to the PRC for 2-3 days per week
• Fresh graduates with sound knowledge of Linux will be considered for Jr Engineer position.

• Tertiary degree in Computing related discipline or Network Engineering
• Holder of MCSE, CCNA and related professional certificate is much preferred
• At least 5 years' or above relevant experience in LAN/WAN network setup, server administration, trouble-shooting and user support
• Hands-on experience in Win2K/2K3 Active Directory, Linux installation and support, email messaging system and related system trouble-shooting
• Familiar with Checkpoint firewall and proxy server setup and knowledge in VoIP gateway setup are an added advantage

• Tertiary degree in Computing related discipline
• At least 5 years' related working experience in system support, helpdesk support and problem trouble-shooting
• Hands-on experience and well-versed in Lotus Domino server system administration and trouble-shooting
• Familiar with document management system support, and workflow development using Lotus Script, Java Script and Lotus Designer under Lotus platform
• Oracle database administration and Unix/AIX system administration experience are preferable
• Experience in web server setup, ASP and related web development

• Tertiary degree in Computing related discipline
• Minimum 6 years working experience in SAP/ERP implementation and deployment in the manufacturing sector
• Familiar with SAP development tools and concrete programming development experience is a must with hands-on experience in application system design and development under Oracle database platform will be an advantage.
• Experience in ERP Project handling and project management
• Committed, independent and customer-oriented with good project management, supervisory and communication skills

• Tertiary educated in Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering/Information Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years actual hands-on experience in digital hardware and software development of products, e.g. VOIP, ISDN, ADSL, WiFi or similar complexity products
• Experience in ARM-core based processor system design and software porting or driver development
• Familiar in WinCE and Linux development environment
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated and good problem-solving skills individual

• Lead the software team on WiFi driver development
• Liaise with chipset manufacturer on driver solution
• Follow up the WiFi and Wireless development projects
• Hands-on work for the hardware and software development

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
• At least 3-6 years experience in handling SAP for sizable Manufacturing in the FICO modules will be an advantage
• Hands on experience in MNC manufacturing environment with SAP implementation of FICO would be an advantage
• Experience in conducting and participating in the implementation process and systems design workshops independently
• Experience in identifying, analyzing current processes and designing future processes
• Analytical-minded, strong in planning and organizing skills, and detail-oriented
• Good command of written and speaking English & Chinese
• Excellent interpersonal skills , a good team player
• Frequent travel & immediate availability is required

• To analyze current process and design future process
• To document system gaps, configure SAP FICO Module and conduct conference room pilots
• To write functional specification documents
• To plan and conduct unit, integration and user acceptance tests
• To manage data conversion and plan for system cutover & go-live
• To provide user support

• University degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in low level driver and embedded firmware experience
• Solid experience in WLAN, VOIP, networking products is an advantage
• Experience in Win CE, Linux, or other embedded systems
• Able to work independently and strong communications skills
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese

• Development of embedded systems (Linux and WinCE). Protocol stack, firmware, and software.
• Design for testing reliability, quality , and manufacturing
• System testing to ensure compliance with FCC/CE certification standard
• Development of an In house licensed protocol stack
• Test and commission network systems for enterprise and public network

• Minimum 2 yrs working as a senior software programmer
