Our Client is a leading international provider of Metro Communications and Signalling Systems worldwide and the Communications Engineer will be based in Dubai for at least 2 years and will be the technical interface to the Customer to discuss all the aspects relevant to the Metro telecommunication subsystems design and implementation.


Requirements
  • Telecommunications/Communications Engineer with good experience in the design and implementation of telecom subsystems in underground metro applications.
  • The preferred required experience covers SDH and IP Backbone Networks, TETRA Radio Networks, WiFi networks, CCTV, Intrusion and Alarm Systems, Passenger Information Systems, Public Address Systems, Private Telephone Networks, Emergency Control Systems, Fibre Optic networks, Digital Voice and Video Recording and Time Distribution Systems.
  • Knowledge of Network Management Systems and Operation Control Centres (including SCADA) would also be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of railways and metro environments, the relevant application standards and operational constraints.
