Funds Specialist - Neg.
Our client, one of the leading and International Private Bank, is currently seeking applications for a Funds Specialist.

Requirements

• University graduate
• Minimum 5 years experience in the banking industry
• Good knowledge in funds and fund related investments (including mutual funds and hedge funds)
• Preferably with established network in the fund industry
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin preferred.

• Assisting in daily investment team operations
• Providing fund advisory to the bank’s marketing team and clients
• Negotiating distribution agreements with third party fund houses
• Conducting due diligence on funds and fund-related products

• F.7 or above
• Min. 5yrs dealing or front-desk operation experience with min. 2yrs management level experience
• Establishing and managing the policy and procedures of the Regulated Activities (Securities Dealing) of the company
• Lead and monitor the daily operation of dealing department
• Responsible for dealing with the company clients
• Monitoring the settlement practice, credit control, risk management
• Ensure the operation in compliance with laws, rules and codes
• Keep abreast of all regulatory requirements
• Work independently and willing to work under pressure
• Good command of Mandarin, Cantonese and English

• Minimum 5 years experience in fund management(10 yrs experience will be a distinct advantage)
• SFC Type license holder
• CFA qualification will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Korean and Thai markets are essential
• Fluent English, Mandarin and Chinese

• University Degree and /or certification in a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years related experience with proven marketing and sales records
• Extensive experience in global market and fixed income/ derivatives products
• Independent, and self motivated, strong interpersonal skills and marketing oriented
• Good command of English and Chinese

• Degree holder in accounting, finance, economics or other business related disciplines
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years’ experience in research or auditing
• Proficient in both, written and spoken English, Chinese and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a definite advantage
• SFC License 1 and 4 or examination passed of HKSI Paper 1 and 8 preferable
• Willingness to travel to PRC & overseas
• Immediate availability is a plus

• Conduct industry and company research;
• Deliver investment ideas to Fund Manager

• University degree holder or above;
• Minimum 5 years experience at financial industry in selling fund products to institutional accounts in Europe or Asia
• Good command of spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese; (Japanese speaker is a plus);
• Self motivated, aggressive and hardworking individual with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility

• Knowledge in all operational aspects of securities and derivatives
• Good knowledge in OTC Derivatives Products (ELN, EMTN, OTC index and equity option (vanilla and exotic), Equity Swaps, OTC Warrants, etc).
• Knowledge in equity derivative product documentation, e.g. ISDA
• Knowledge in the regulatory of framework of securities industry
• Knowledge in settlement networks, SWIFT, HK RTGS, Euroclear/Clearstream systems, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Good knowledge in Listed Equities and Derivative will be an advantage.
• Knowledge in GLOSS system will be an advantage
• Knowledge in Excel Macro and Visual Basic will be an advantage

• University graduate
• At least 8 years' working experience with 4 years supervisory experience in equity and derivative products settlement in a banking environment.
• Solid experience in supervising a medium sized team of operations
• Solid experience in project management
• Analytical, mature, dedicated, initiatives and proactive
• Control focus, responsible and responsive
• Good leadership skills and good teamplayer
• Good communication and follow up skill
• Able to work under pressure and strive for improvement

• To market FX options and interest rate derivatives/structures to existing clients (i.e. local banks)
• Expectation to improve client coverage
• 5 years experience
• Already have a small client base
• The willingness to explore other potential. A strond drive to excel and to move into other product class is essential, especially moving into interest rate derivatives and credit derivatives
